Kia EV6 is offered in GT-Line RWD and GT-Line AWD trim levels.
It’s powered by a 77.4kWh battery good for up to 708km of range (ARAI-claimed).
Its premium features list includes a 14-speaker Meridian sound system and a powered tailgate.
Prices start at Rs 59.95 lakh (ex-showroom).
Global electric cars still occupy a minority share in the overall EV sales, but the trend is changing with lower-priced global electric models such as the Kia EV6. The premium EV has been delivered to 200 customers across the country, two times more than the initial 100 units allocated for the Indian markets.
Several more EV6s have been ordered, and the carmaker will increase its allocation for 2022 even further to deliver the EVs. The EV6 is brought to India in the form of completely built-up units (CBUs) and carries a price of Rs 59.95 lakh to Rs 64.95 lakh (ex-showroom pan-India).

For the price, the Kia EV6 offers a wide array of premium equipment such as a panoramic sunroof, powered tailgate, 14-speaker Meridian sound system, dual 12.3-inch displays for driver’s instrumentation and navigation and an augmented reality heads-up display (HUD).

It even gets V2L and V2V functionality that enables the EV6 to power external appliances and even other EVs. Its safety kit includes eight airbags and driver-assistance features such as lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control and forward collision avoidance.

The EV6 is offered in GT-Line RWD and GT-Line AWD trim levels. Both variants have a 77.4kWh battery pack that’s good for an ARAI-claimed range of 708km (over 500km in real-world conditions). The RWD variant gets a 229PS rear e-motor, while the AWD has a 325PS powertrain good for 0-100kmph in 5.2 seconds.
