A Vietnam-based motorcycle company Bandit9 has unveiled a new urban mobility solution – the shiny, stainless steel Nano e-scooter. The Nano Bandit9 is described as a surprising blend of striking looks, utmost functionality, and consideration for the environment.
The Nano was created for the city while also being a conscious choice to minimize your carbon footprint.
Unlike most plastic scooters, the Nano is made from Rolex steel (904L) and polished to a sterling silver that exudes a retro-futuristic yet luxurious look. Nano can slip through traffic, squeeze between cars and take shortcuts through narrow alleys. When it comes to parking, you can park anywhere in any direction, saving time and potential quarrels with impatient drivers.
This electric scooter is created to make daily commutes glossier and smoother. The base model deliberately comes with a maximum speed of 45 km/h (28 mph), which means that anyone with a car license can just hop on and go. No need for a motorcycle license. There’s a second option, ‘Nano+,’ that can reach a top speed of 75 km/h (46.6 mph) and requires a motorcycle license. The e-scooter has a maximum range of 97 km (60 miles).
The Nano Bandit9 e-scooter has a length of 187 cm, a width of 73.5 cm, a height of 115 cm, and a saddle height of 76 cm. Despite its steel frame, both versions of the Nano tip the scales at 120 kg. Power comes from a 4 kW electric motor built into the rear hub, fed by a 4.2-kWh removable battery that can be recharged in four hours of plug-in time.
Both the models of Nano Bandit9 are now available for pre-order – $4,499 (€4,499) for the standard version of Nano and $4,990 (€4,990) for the Nano+.
