Delhi News Live Updates: City records 1,414 new Covid-19 cases, one death – The Indian Express

Delhi News Live Updates: Delhi logged 1,414 fresh Covid-19 cases and one death on Tuesday. Even though the cases were 31 per cent more than Monday, the positivity rate decreased 5.97 per cent. The total number of cases in Delhi rose to 18,87,050 and the death toll increased to 26,176.
The Noida police have claimed to have arrested the ninth accused in the death of 30-year-old Brajesh Kumar Rai who was beaten to death during a brawl at Lost Lemons pub in Noida’s Gardens Galleria mall. Jaiveer Singh worked at the bar and was arrested from a bus stand at the Mahamaya flyover on Tuesday. Singh is a resident of Haryana and resides in the Chhatarpur area in Delhi.
Delhi airport has bagged the position of being world’s second busiest airport in the month of March. Official Airline Guide (OAG) stated both domestic and international travelling contributed to the hectic schedule of airport. As per PTI reports, “In March this year, airports in Atlanta in the US, Delhi in India and Dubai in the UAE handled 4.42 million, 3.61 million and 3.55 million seats, it mentioned.”
