Delhi HC quashes LOC against journalist, says issued in haste, allows her to travel abroad
The Delhi High Court Monday quashed a Look Out Circular (LOC) issued against journalist Rana Ayyub by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and allowed her to travel abroad, saying that the LOC was issued in “haste” and there was no cogent reason for presuming that she will not appear before the investigating agency.

Delhi HC stays notice to ED officers by West Bengal Police
The Delhi High Court on Monday stayed the notice issued to the officers of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) by West Bengal Police pursuant to an FIR lodged by TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee. Justice Jasmeet Singh, who was hearing a challenge to the notice dated March 17, noted that the earlier summons issued in the case by the West Bengal Police were stayed last year by another bench of the high court and no appeal has been filed against the same.

Delhi to have summer action plan to fight pollution: Gopal Rai
The Delhi government will prepare a 14-point summer action plan to fight pollution in the capital, Environment Minister Gopal Rai said on Monday. He said the plan will focus on open burning of garbage, fires at landfill sites, increasing green cover on the roadside, rejuvenation of water bodies, parks, tree transplantation monitoring, phasing out of single-use plastics, development of an eco-waste park, urban farming etc.
61 cases of Dengue in Delhi this year; 22 in March
Six fresh cases of dengue have been reported in the last one week in Delhi, taking the tally to 61, according to a civic report released on Monday. Till March 26 this year, 55 cases of dengue were recorded in the city.

Two people, including a woman, have been arrested for defrauding people on the pretext of providing them jobs in IDFC bank. The arrested individuals were identified as Ravi Kant (28), a resident of Jhajjar, Haryana, and his wife. DCP (outer district) Sameer Sharma said a complaint was lodged by an authorised representative of IDFC Bank stating their bank has received various complaints from their account holders, who were duped by unknown people on pretext of providing jobs in IDFC Bank. Delhi: NDMC property tax mop-up at an all-time high of Rs 942.3 crore
The New Delhi Municipal Council on Sunday said that it has achieved its highest-ever property tax collection of Rs 942.3 crore. According to the officials, the civic body has seen significant growth in revenue despite not increasing its property tax for the last five years. The body attributed it to a drive focusing on the realisation of past arrears and the launch of a new portal for added taxpayer convenience.
