The EverCross folding electric scooter is on sale at Amazon; try a new form of travel to save gas – Mashable

SAVE 15%: If you’ve been eyeing e-scooters, now’s a good time to pull the trigger. The EverCross Electric Scooter is on sale for $679.99 as of March 14 — that’s $120.00 (15%) off its regular price of $799.99.
With gas prices as obscenely high as they are, many people are now turning more to biking or public transportation. Another option is the e-scooter — once considered an amusement on European streets (long live Lime) or a pastime for kids, they’ve grown into being their very own form of transportation, especially in cities, where their portability and maneuverability can really shine.
The EverCross Electric Scooter is no exception. It features a detachable seat, so you can ride it standing or sitting — a relief on those rides that take more than an hour or so — has a max speed of 28 miles per hour, and cruise control in three speeds.
It also comes equipped with front and rear shock absorbers and a dual braking system that ensures rider comfort, plus a headlamp, LED display, and anti-slip foot pedal for safety. While its range of 25 miles isn’t the best if you need to commute a longer distance, it only takes four to six hours to fully charge, so you can take it into work (literally, into — it collapses into a compact unit at the press of a foot) and come out to a re-juiced scooter.
If you’re in the market for an electric scooter for errands or short trips, the EverCross is a good option. It’s on sale as of March 14 (just in time for spring) at Amazon for $679.99.
