Delhi Police busted a gang of fraudsters who allegedly duped people on the pretext of providing them air ambulances. Accused Navdeep and his girlfriend Prabhdeep Kaur are involved in the fraud for the past five years, the police said. The police arrested Navdeep on the charges of cheating from the Tilak Nagar area while Prabhdeep is absconding.

Delhi’s unauthorised colonies to get water, drainage by March 2023
The Delhi Government will provide roads, water pipelines, sewerage network and drainage connectivity in all unauthorised colonies by March next year. The decision was taken in a review meeting on the ongoing development works in unauthorised colonies at the Delhi Secretariat on Friday chaired by chief minister Arvind Kejriwal with Public Works Department officials.
FIR lodged after woman alleges gang-rape in Delhi’s Ghazipur
An FIR was registered on Friday in connection with the alleged gang-rape of a 36-year-old woman in the Ghazipur area of the national capital. The complaint has been filed under the charges of sections 323, 365, 376 D and 377 of the Indian Penal Code.According to Delhi Police, a 36-year-old woman was allegedly raped on Wednesday night.
Pilot project to transform Delhi roads to European countries standards to be completed by Aug
Chief minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday chaired a high-level review meeting regarding the roads being revamped in the state on the lines of European countries. “Kejriwal government is working upon redeveloping roads totalling up to 540 kms and transforming them as per the level of European countries… In the review meeting, Kejriwal was presented the progress report and apprised of the status of the project by the officials during the meeting. The PWD officials informed the CM that the work on the pilot project is going on in full swing and will be completed by August 2022,” read a press release.

The bill to merge the three municipal corporations in the national capital into a single entity was introduced in Lok Sabha on Friday by the central government amid Opposition claims that the move was beyond the legislative competence of Parliament.
Gurugram: Woman jumps to death from flyover
A 25-year-old woman allegedly jumped to death from the Rajiv Chowk flyover here on Saturday, police said. The deceased has been identified as Sapna, a resident of Hans Enclave area of Gurugram. Dinesh Kumar, station house officer (SHO) of Sadar police station, told a news agency, “The reason behind the extreme step is yet to be established. She was rushed to the civil hospital but was declared dead by the doctors. We are probing the matter.”

Man stabs cousin to death in Delhi
A man was killed and his cousin suffered injuries after a fight broke out between them in the national capital, an official said on Saturday. The deceased was identified as Imran, a resident of Holambi Kalan, while the accused cousin, Sohel was also injured in the incident and is currently admitted to a hospital. Furnishing details, DCP Brijendra Yadav said the incident took place on the the intervening night of March 25-26 in north Delhi’s Holambi Kalan area.
