Among important initiatives this year are the mainstreaming of street children through boarding schools and the extension of the Business Blasters entrepreneurship scheme to private schools. The government also plans to set up the School Science Museum to arouse interest in science.Delhi government intends to spend Rs 16,287 crore on education this fiscal against Rs 16,377 crore in 2020-21. Education garnered the highest share of the budget in 2018-19 and 2019-20 with 26%.
